ZEUS Sick Snatch Complex

Not going to lie, yesterday's Snatch Complex on ZEUS Everything got me! I don't normally like to fail early on a New Lifting Cycle but on the second set I failed twice and then had to drop the weight down.

That is the funny thing about a New Cycle. You have to find out where you are to build up. Here is the Complex from yesterday. COMPETE will be doing this Friday as they start the New Cycle then:

For Max Weight on Each Complex

1 Full Snatch + 6 Overhead Squats (245 pounds)
2 Full Snatch + 5 Overhead Squats (F235 x 2 - went 225)
3 Full Snatch + 4 Overhead Squats (215)
4 Full Snatch + 3 Overhead Squats (205)
5 Full Snatch + 2 Overhead Squats (195)
6 Full Snatch + 1 Overhead Squats (165 - I was tired haha)

-Rest as needed between sets-

The Snatches have to be touch and go, try to keep the weight as close as you can together knowing you will be decreasing weight each set. I built up with 1 Full Snatch + 1-2 Overhead Squats until I reached the weight I wanted to start with. I failed at the 2+5…I couldn't seem to hit the second rep smooth.

That is part of the game! I am excited to see where I progress and what I can get on the Complex later the Progression!
